Books of Elpis was written to examine the relationship between our (not so ancient) history, against our future. What, and who, does society deems worth keeping? This story explores how the disabled, outcast, and marginalized are often the most revolutionary thinkers. More importantly, Books of Elpis is about how a narrative can be easily manipulated by those with the most power. This comic is not only an analysis, but a tribute to mythology, and all the women who raised me.
